A Singing Realtor's Story: Like a Song, Every Home Tells a Story. What's Yours?
Meet Renée Collins Georges, whose journey began in sunny California. As a native of Los Angeles with a dynamic background in entertainment, media arts, and advertising, Renée invites you to let "Your Singing House Hunter" guide you through the crescendos and diminuendos of your dream home story. Having traveled the world as a professional performer, Renée brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to her role as a real estate professional.
For Renée, real estate is more than a profession—it's a way to empower families and strengthen communities. She believes in the transformative power of homeownership to create stability and generational wealth. Singing Johnny Cash's iconic "I've Been Everywhere," Renée's diverse background, extensive travel, and exposure to homes across the U.S. and abroad have equipped her with invaluable skills in negotiation and client advocacy.
Renée’s musical journey includes being one of the last five 'Raelettes' to tour with the legendary Ray Charles. After marrying a Washingtonian, she relocated to the East Coast, initially settling in New Jersey. There, she successfully petitioned for better street lighting and a crosswalk after a neighbor and two co-workers were struck in a tragic accident. Her commitment to community advocacy has always been central to her life.
After moving to the DMV, Renée graduated magna cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication - Mass Media Arts. Now, a 20-year resident of Bowie, Maryland, she lives with her husband, a trombonist and arts educator, their son, and three cherished cats: JoJo, Claudia, and a feral friend named Light Twin.
Renée values the simple joys in life: faith, family, friends, jazz, gospel music, and the arts. When she's not helping clients navigate the real estate market, she serves the community as a teaching artist and performs alongside her husband—a trombonist and arts educator—at local venues. Fun fact: the couple met while Renée was touring with Ray Charles! And yes, she still loves "hitting the road" for the adventure of sharing her resonant voice with audiences abroad.
Let Renée help you find your dream home and write the next chapter in your story.
